A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that a website stores on your browser or on the hard drive of your computer, phone or tablet. Cookies let a website recognise your device, remember things about your visit and work properly.
We also use similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, that work in a similar way. In this policy, we call all of these “cookies”.
2How we use cookies
Our website uses cookies to distinguish you from other users. This helps us to give you a good experience when you browse our website and also allows us to improve our site. We use cookies to:
- keep you logged in to your account and keep your basket working while you enter competitions;
- keep our website secure and help prevent fraud;
- remember your preferences;
- understand how visitors use our website, so we can improve it; and
- show you relevant adverts and measure how well our advertising works.
Strictly necessary cookies are always on, because our website cannot work without them. We will only use other cookies if you agree to them. You can change your mind at any time, as explained in section 6.
